Just about 4 km from the centre of the gorgeous Hoi An Ancient Town, you will find the Hoi An beaches of Cua Dai and An Bang. Imagine golden, fine sandy covered beaches, all lined and filled with spectacular palm trees. These are two little spots for both relaxation, cocktails and some fine local cuisine. Though Cua Dai is the closest beach to Hoi An.
Also check Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Beaches.
It is a very touristy and popular beach. There are restaurants or shacks on the beach selling food and drinks.
Yes, they have sheltered loungers on the beach in front of their shacks, but you gotta buy stuff from them. You can actually walk to Cua Dai, its just 3Kms.
Cua Dai Beach
Cua Dai is one of just five Vietnamese UNESCO World Heritage Sites offering an unrivaled seaside escape from the ancient streets of Hoi An. This 3km stretch of fine white powdery sands positioned just north-east of Hoi An make Cua Dai Beach the perfect place to easily find your own patch of paradise. The water is very clear with tropically blue waves that are gentle enough for swimming and floating around.
However, the beach can get crowded over weekends, so if you are planning to soak up the sun on your own, head towards the beach on week days. Even if you’re not a big fan of beaches, a biking trip there will be worthwhile taking into consideration the scenic nature you can spot along the way.
