Hollywood Road is filled with trinket and antique shops of all sorts. Chinese furniture to porcelain ware, from Buddha sculptures to Tibetan rugs, from Japanese netsukes to Coromandel screens, Ming dynasty ceramic horsemen and kitsch Maoist memorabilia.
Don’t miss Cat street while on Hollywood Road. People have been trading antiques and second-hand goods here for 150 years. Do not worry about the direction the Hollywood road is not more than two Kms. Just ask!
One of the biggest outdoor markets in Kowloon, Jade market is for wholesale jewelry. Do note they only take cash. Do not forget to bargain as prices quoted are double or maybe more. The market has a collection of hundreds of stands selling all kinds of jade, pearls, semi-precious stones, in all forms, shapes, and sizes.
Note – The Jade Market is a daytime market, it is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
