Bay Sands resort complex includes a hotel, high-end luxury brands, a mall with a canal running through it, the Art Science Museum, and the Marina Bay Sands Skypark. The Skypark’s viewing deck and infinity pool are found on the ship (yes, ship) that tops the hotel. From the skypark, you can see the innovative double helix bridge, the port, the Gardens by the Bay, and the impressive skyline.

The best place to grasp the size of Gardens by the Bay is from the top of Marina Bay Sands, which sits directly opposite the park, space encompasses 250 acres of reclaimed land on the waterfront.

From the small mom-and-pop stores and authentic Chinese food to the bright red lanterns, there’s an excitement and hustle in this district. You can visit the Chinese Heritage Centre and see the impressive and beautiful Sri Mariamman Hindu temple.

Another temple worth seeing is the Buddha Tooth Relic temple. If you’re up early enough (think 4 am), you can hear the morning drum ceremony. Or you can just check out the closing ceremony in the evening after viewing the relic.

Sentosa Island

You can spend 2-3 days discovering the daytime activities and not be missed nighttime extravaganza. Songs of the Sea, Crane dance are a must see in the night. The impressive SEA Aquarium is also located on Sentosa Island and it proves to be an interesting attraction for both adults and kids. This venue is home to more than 100,000 marine species.

The S.E.A Aquarium offers a fun and educational sleepover programme called Ocean Dreams. When night falls, you will get to drift into slumber as you gaze at these shimmering schools of fish in front of the spectacular Open Ocean Habitat. A very good activity for kids.
