The world is going to Pattaya, so why not girls? I have seen a lot of single girls traveling to Bangkok and staying in Chinatown. But, I see very few single-woman travelers in Pattaya. Whenever I pitch Pattaya to girls I always get the looks. The look that is asking `Who do you think I am? However, the one thing that remains constant in these talks is cheap to travel international destinations. I have discussed in another blog here, how Pattaya is the cheapest international destination. Let me tell you Pattaya is for everybody and here is how you can make it even better. This blog will help all the single girls/girlfriends to travel to Pattaya without having boys in the group. This blog will cover all aspects of Pattaya for a girl’s trip.
You should know it takes one and a half to two hours to reach Pattaya from Bangkok airport. Whether you land at Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Mueng Airport the traveling time to Pattaya remains the same. If you opt for a visa on arrival it can take around 2-3 hours to get through immigration. You should also know that your hotel check-in time is 02:00 PM (1400hrs.).
Since you know all the facts you can easily pick the right timing for your flight. Most of the flights to Thailand reach between 03:00-08:00 AM. Pick the flight which reaches around eight in the morning. Add the immigration time of two hours and two hours of Pattaya journey you will reach your hotel at around noon. This will increase your chances of getting the early check-in at the hotel. Even if the hotel does not give you the early check-in you can wait 2 hours easily. You can read more on early check-in here.

The best areas to stay in Pattaya for single girls:
Central Pattaya, South Pattaya, and hotels near the walking street are not right for single girls. Choosing the right area will bring in more comfort. The Jomtien area is best for girls. This area like the beach road has its beach which is nice and clean. It is a less touristy area and is very near to a lot of attractions in Pattaya. There is also a night market which you can visit. North Pattaya is where the famous beach road starts. Another landmark is the Amari Hotel; it is the first hotel on this stretch. North Pattaya hotels are mostly expensive as compared to Jomtien. You can learn more about the Pattaya beach road here.
I am just listing the best attractions of Pattaya so that you have an idea of what not to miss in Pattaya.

Pattaya nightlife scene goes till 5:00 AM. All the clubs open shop by 9:00 PM. The best time to go is 1:00 AM though. They have a range of nightclubs that play different genres of music. The most famous for playing Indian music are Naasha, Tony’s, and Raas. But I will not suggest ladies go there. But, the good thing is they are all on the walking street.
The above nightclubs are better options. They, however, don’t play any Hindi tunes. You can read all about walking-street here.
The Exotic Pattaya
Walking-street is full of them; you can go to them too. They are very safe for women. Walking street hustle-bustle doesn’t die till 6:00 AM. You can even find restaurants serving early morning breakfast.
Walking to street bars and restaurants is expensive. The average beer cost in walking street bars is between THB 100-180. On the other hand, Soi LK Metro is a non-touristy place. If you are looking for exotic fun I’ll recommend this area to walking-street. The rates of alcohol are cheap and they have a lot of happy hour bars and gogos.
Pattaya has a lot of food options. Pattaya also has more than twenty restaurants that serve Indian Cuisine. Street food in Pattaya is very safe so do try. Food Karts serve only Thai food though. There are veg restaurants that are serving only vegetarian food. You also have vegan restaurants in Pattaya. If you like to sit in restaurants here are my favorite. Make sure you try mango with sticky rice and Thai Cold Coffee. There are dedicated markets in Pattaya for street food, do go there.
You can also check this website for vegan food in Pattaya.
In my personal opinion, the first time traveler should buy a package from a travel company. We have customized a package, Pattaya for girls here. You can buy the same without going through any hassle. However, the above blog is apt for you to make a do-it-yourself-itinerary. You can gain further knowledge about Pattaya in the blog section.
